Azie Faison, whose life was portrayed in the 2002 film Paid in Full, spoke to VladTV about witnessing the start of the crack era in Harlem. He revealed that police couldn't identify crack as a drug in the beginning, and he added that it didn't start out as a poor person's drug, with doctors and lawyers partaking.
After pointing out that he always sold cocaine and never crack, Azie shared that he would take roughly $2 million in drugs from his dealer at one time to sell. Azie also spoke about never really getting into drinking or doing coke, which you can hear more about in the above clip.
